Introduction workshop on how to balance work and life
Often feel distracted, frustrated and annoyed, finding it difficult to concentrate or perform at your best at work or at home?
Find yourself eating, drinking or smoking more than you'd like?
Generally feel 'under the weather' or tired without any obvious explanation?
Have problems sleeping, feel increasingly under pressure, or find it difficult to switch off outside work?
If you've answered 'Yes' to any of the above, this workshop could be for you.
This Introduction Workshop (two hours) will help you create the balance you need. You'll discover how to make choices that will impact positively on your life, performance and health. You'll learn to recognise and understand your symptoms; and we'll show you how to overcome them to create the balance you want.
We'll help you find effective ways to reduce excessive, disabling stress and increase the quality of your life.
Session includes:
• assessing the balance in your life
• determining how your personality could be responsible
• identifying your specific stress triggers – and how these could be an early indication that all is not well
• a deep relaxation session
• looking at how you compensate for stress and how this could be causing more stress
• discovering how they feed the spiral of stress.
Follow up:
• booking in for a one-to-one session to deal with more personal issues
Remember – this is not a personal therapy session, so there won't be time to cover detailed personal issues. It's an introduction to how important it is for our wellbeing to get the work-life balance right. And it's a taster of some of the techniques we can use to do just that.
