Why 'Stress' Management?

The Personal Change work I do with clients is a response to that most damaging experience of modern life – excessive stress.
We all try to compensate for stresses we encounter day-to-day. Then the compensation itself often creates another form of stress ... and so on. Stress after stress ... and your body just can't function effectively.
You get caught in a spiral that leads to ill health, poor performance or emotional symptoms such as anxiety or depression.
The signs are there: you might be overeating, suffering from frequent colds or infections, having sleepless nights or overworking.
And you have no idea what to do to stop or to manage these symptoms.
You might be acutely aware that you're stressed – but you can't figure out how to break the cycle or where to start.
That's why I see my work, overall, as dealing with the damage caused by stress.
I can help you to highlight, challenge and explore inconsistent thought patterns, responses, behaviour and negative lifestyle choices. I'll help you acquire a sense of perspective, balance and clarity. And then you can break the cycle.
